Would it be worth trading in my Ford Puma (2020) for a Hyundai Ioniq (2019)?
I'm paying £275 per month for the Puma but I hardly ever drive anymore since I work from home, cycle to work and don't have any kids. I still want to own a car because I enjoy the freedom and need it sometimes for visiting parents, groceries, etc. But I want one that's less expensive, more economical (full hybrid) and reliable. A Hyundai Ioniq would be £100 less per month, better mpg and are apparently reliable since they're popular with Taxi drivers.
I recently bought a pre-owned 2020 Ford Escape Titanium Hybrid AWD here in Canada from a Volkswagen dealership. It has 56,000 km on the odometer and the exterior and interior still looks good. Got it with almost full tank of gas and saw that I have 378km of range left. I thought that it would re-calibrate as I've seen others get 900+kms on a full tank. After driving it for a week, I've added 230km on my odometer but used like 31 liters of gas. I'm getting like 17.5mpg or 13.2l/100km which I find really bad considering that this is a hybrid. I've told the dealership but they said just keep driving and it will be better. What I don't understand is how will it become better when the fuel levels and range seems to adjust proportionally? Any ideas what might be causing poor fuel economy?
What's the largest size tires I can get on a 2020 Ford Ranger XLT 4x2?
I currently have the stock Bridgestone 255/65/17 tires. I plan on getting the front leveled 2 inches to match the back. When I do that, what's the largest tires I'll be able to fit on there without rubbing? I plan on keeping the stock 17 inch wheels.
A question….. does anyone know what could be the problem with my Escape. Today , when I started my car it it started making “pinging “ noises ( like when a passenger has not buckled up w safety belt) and flashing message that car is not on park. Once car starts the message goes away but as soon as I break, the notice comes on again. Any ideas?
hey everyone! Looking to upgrade to the 2020 ford explorer xlt. I want to get opinions from owners; Reliability? pro/cons? recommend? etc. Background: I work remote so minimal driving except to the shore in the summer, thus not concerned about gas mileage in the commuter sense. I currently drive a 2015 subaru crosstrek. Great car but I find the ride too be too loud and ive outgrown the size. I also test drove the Dodge Durango and Kia Telluride but I love the look of the Ford Explore the best. Please comment thoughts opinions, knowledge, anything thank you

I am in the market for a new car, something around $15k. I am planning on taking a look at this one later today. However I am reading some bad stories about this specific engine. Someone said as long as it was a late 2019 build date that might be OK? I would like the car to last me the next 5-7 years probably driving maybe about 12k miles per year. If I should just stay clear lemme know.
